The two days long DAV National Sports (Zonal Level)
Basketball Tournament 2013 concluded with the felicitation of the winning teams
(Boys & Girls) and with the lowering down of the DAV National Sports (Zonal
Level) Basketball flag.
The Chief Guest on the occasion Shri Ravindra Pratap
Singh , DDC Hazaribag, congratulated the participants and said that he was very happy to witness the final match.
He also thanked the DAV Management for organizing such a kind of tournament for
all round development of the children .
Shri S. R. Modgil, Regional Director DAV Public
Schools, Hazaribag Zone thanked the DAV Hazaribag family for organizing this
two days long tournament very successfully. He said, of course, both the teams
can’t be winners, definitely one has to contend with the second position. 
Shri Ashok Kumar, Principal, DAV Public School,
Hazaribag welcomed the Chief Guest & the Distinguished Guest and others for
their benign presence. He also said that it was indeed a great occasion for the
school. He also expressed his good wishes for the winning teams (Boys &
Girls, Zonal Level) which will participate in the DAV National Sports at
national Level to be held at DAV Gaziabad (Boys Teams) and DAV University
Jalandhar (Girls Teams) in the month of December 2013.
The dignitaries present on the occasion included Shri
Mahabir Lal Vishwakarma , Sri Arvind Kr. Singh, Dr. Heeralal Saha, Ex. MP
Hazaribag, Shri M.K. Mishra, Principal DAV Bharech Nagar, Shri Bhaiya Abhinav
Kumar, Principal DAV CCL Giridih etc.
