The XXX MHRAT Basketball and
Cluster-I Athletics $ Cricket Tournament-2012 was concluded here at DAV Public
School, Sr.Wing, Hazaribag with the felicitation of the runners-up and winning
teams and lowering down the tournament by the Chief Guest Hon’ble Shri Manoj
Kaushik,S.P.,Hazaribag. 
The Chief Guest, in his address to
the gathering, said that the principal of DAV Hazaribag is fortunate enough to
have been entrusted to organize this prestigious tournament. Further he said
that in such events winning and losing the game doesn’t matter. What matters
the most is true sportsmanship spirit. A real player should never lose it.
The Principal Shri Ashok Kumar said
in his welcome address that the school always emphasized on holistic approach
for all-round development of the students .Besides academic, games&sports
are equally important.
Among
those present were students, parents, other citizens, besides a large number of
dignitaries including Dr. Hiralal Saha, Prof Vikash Kumar, Shri Birendra Kumar,
General Secretary H. Bag Athletics Association. Shri M. K. Mishra, Principal
DAV Bharech Nagar, Shri Mahabir Lal Vishwakarma.
