Alumni Meet 2012 organized at school premises



               The Alumni Meet-2012 was organized at
  DAV Public School, Hazaribag in which the  alumni employed at different places and the teachers participated. The function began with the lighting of the lamp and the floral tribute to Late N.D. Grover. The hawan was also performed to mark the occasion.

In his address to the gathering Shri Ranjan Jain, Vice-Chairman, LMC, DAV Public School, Hazaribag said that DAV Old Students’ Association is the best platform to interact with one another. He urged them to elevate it with proper planning &agenda.

Shri Ashok Kumar, the Principal in his address to the alumni, dealt upon the journey of the school of 20 years in pursuit of excellence starting from Anvita Priyam (the first CBSE batch std X) state topper in undivided Bihar to Ravi Ranjan – a 2002-03 alumnus who became an IPS in the sesson 2012-13. He shared his feelings on the school’s remarkable achievements in the arena of academics, creativity and innovation, sports & games, cultural and social concern with the alumni present. He also wished them to rise higher and higher in their life. While offering his tribute, he said that Late N.D.Grover was a great visionary and a far sighted person. He attributed all achievements to the departed soul. He also appealed to the alumni to do something for underprivileged children of the society as a real tribute to Late N.D.Grover.

The two books - namely ‘Ahankar Ka Insan par Raj’ authored by Mr. Roy Rakesh (teacher) which says how pride provokes the human beings to tread the wrong path adversely affecting the family, society, religion and ultimately the nation, and the next book the ‘Restart’ authored by Aabhas K. Maldahiyar (an alumnus) talking about the journey of  a student architect who finds  opportunities in his failures and succeeds to be a parliamentarian to rectify the wrong systems prevalent in the society - were released.

Under introduction-cum-interaction session the alumni shared their feelings. A cultural fiesta was also organized by the school students. The school magazine, memento and an achievement folder were presented to the  alumni. The vote of thanks was proposed by Vandana Tanu, an alumnus. The programme concluded with shanti  path.
